Paper Toss is the office-break classic: crumple a sheet of paper and flick it into the bin across the room. A desk fan blows a crosswind that changes after every throw, so you have to aim off to one side and let the wind bring the ball back. Every basket adds one to your streak, and a single miss ends it.
Press on the game, flick upward toward the bin, and release. The direction of the flick sets your aim, and its length and speed set the power. With a keyboard, aim with the left and right arrows (or A and D), hold Space to charge power, and release to throw.
Paper Toss was one of the first viral phone games, released in 2009 for early smartphones and played in offices everywhere. It captured the universal habit of turning a wastepaper basket into a hoop, with the added twist of an office fan.
The arrow at the top shows which way and how hard the fan is blowing. Throw slightly against it and let the wind curve the ball into the bin.
The ball bounces off. It usually falls out, which counts as a miss and ends the streak.
Yes. The bin steps back every five baskets, and the wind can get stronger the longer your streak lasts.
